Join us for the 2024 edition of this very special week of steep ski coaching and adventures!
With 5 days of off piste guiding & coaching we will aim to explore the best steep descents of the Vanoise area, from the classic to the hidden gem, with coaching ‘on-the-go’ as needed. Previous years highlights include the North face of Bellecote, North couloir of the Grand Perron, NE couloir of the Cheval Noir and of course the incredible Breche Portetta.
This week will feature a mix of ‘gravity-assisted’ skiing as well as skinning to access the best descents and for this course I am delighted that once again IFMGA Mountain Guide Dorian Labaeye will be joining me as co-host.
The Ski areas
Brides les Bains has a gondola link to Meribel, in the heart of the 3 Valleys, and offers easy road access to all the major Vanoise & Tarentaise resorts: Tignes, Val D’Isere, St Foy, La Plagne, Espace San Bernardino… This base gives us lots of scope to roam as far and wide as we need to seek out the best snow.
Please note: This course is run on a target maximum group size of 4 people, with enough demand further groups will be opened up subject to suitable instructor/guide availability.
Accommodation is not included in the course fee however we can assist in making a reservation for you.
Level 4
Skiing Ability
For confident off-piste skiers/ski-tourers. To get the best from this course you should be happy linking short turns on slopes up to 40 degrees in most conditions.
