Join us for our 10th spring in these magical islands!
The Lofoten Islands have become a Mecca for ski touring, with their combination of stunning scenery and mountains for all levels of ski tourer. This will be our 9th Spring ski touring there, but despite this we still have a long ‘to-do’ list of lines to ski on the islands, and while Lofoten is now firmly on the ski touring map it is still easy to avoid the crowds and enjoy some solitude. Based at the comfortable Lofoten Ski Lodge we are ideally placed to easily access all parts of the islands, with waffles, sauna and the Arctic Ocean waiting for us on our return…
The Lofoten Islands
From a little known esoteric backwater on our first trip in 2013 the Lofoten islands have now firmly (and rightfully) found their way onto the ski touring map. Fortunately there are plenty of opportunities to avoid other skiers and enjoy some Arctic solitude along with aesthetic peaks and couloirs…
Lofoten has something for everyone and every day, from ‘mini-golf’ peaks of 400m to iconic 1100m spires the islands have it all. For an idea of what you can expect check out our blog posts from 2022 and 2019.

Level 4
Skiing Ability
For confident off-piste skiers/ski-tourers. To get the best from this course you should be happy linking short turns on slopes up to 40/45 degrees in most conditions, and fit enough to skin up to 1200/1300m per day.
