Off Piste Improvers

Do you want to consolidate and refine your off piste skiing tactics and technique?
Keen to hone your moves in soft snow, and become more efficient for ski touring?
This is the week for you...

With 6 full days of instruction & guiding we will refine our off-piste skills and head off in search of adventure. Prepare to be challenged and to have lots of fun!

This week is mostly 'gravity-assisted' ie we will use lifts to go uphill & ski down - however to access the best snow we may do some short sections of walking/skating. Ski-touring equipment is not mandatory.

The ski area:

The ski areas of the lower Maurienne valley are very much 'off-the-radar' for many skiers but give access to a huge amount of great off piste with much less pressure for fresh tracks than the better known off piste destinations.

Les Sybelles, St François-Longchamp/Valmorel, Les Karellis and Valmeinier/Valloire are all within a short drive of our base in St Jean de Maurienne, with high altitude skiing easily accessed from Orelle if needed.
